DryMax COMBIMAT was primarily developed to create a better and drier working environment for Gynaecologists and Urologists but is now widely used in examination and operating rooms.
The white absorbent area is specially designed for standing on or placing beneath a stool. An anti-skid barrier layer keeps the mat in place and prevents fluids from passing through to the floor.
The green superabsorbent area can absorb and retain up to 5 litres of saline solution or 13 litres of tap water. It is dual-sided, absorbs from both sides and can be used either flat or folded to protect shoes, floors, and other areas. During absorption, the mat swells and its contents turn to gel.
Proper fluid management promotes Health and Safety as it reduces the risk of slips and trips and provides a cleaner and safer working environment.
As DryMax COMBIMAT’s green section locks in the contaminated fluids without dripping, it helps reduce the risk of spreading contaminants. In this way, the mat contributes to infection control and patient safety.
Cleaning times and costs are also significantly reduced as fluids are absorbed and retained by the mat.
